Using step-by-step books are brilliant for giving children the confidence to draw things they may think they cant and taking the drawings even further into crafts is even more fun! Once they've mastered their drawing its time to try it on a bigger scale. Use large pieces of card to draw on then cut them out, depending on the child's age you could do this part for them. Once you have your shape the possibilities are endless, try painting a mermaid and add beautiful long ribbon hair or why not try making a doughnut lion and add lots of cute paper sprinkles!
